What Makes A Story Inspirational?

Different things make a specific story inspirational. What one person finds inspirational, another might not. For children, an inspirational story often contains important moral lessons that help elevate it and make it valuable. A good example of an inspirational story for kids is The Tortoise And The Hare By Aesop in his fables. The story is about a beautiful creature known as the Hare. Hares are quite quick and clever.

Tortoises, on the other hand, are slow and much more down to earth. The story proceeds to show how Hare challenges the Tortoise to a race, being fully confident that he will win, so much so that he quickly runs ahead of the Tortoise. However, while he’s ahead of the Tortoise, he decides to take a nap, being overly confident that he’d win despite him taking a nap. Eventually, what ends up happening is that the Tortoise ends up winning the race because while the Hare had a strong lead over the Tortoise, he did not cut any corners and continued on the race while the Hare became lazy in the middle and took a nap. The moral of the story is that slow and steady wins the race.
